Erik Anders

Originally from Washington, DC, Erik Anders formed the legendary rockabilly bands the GoKatz USA, Erik and The Dragtones, and Sin City Gamblers. Eventually, Erik recorded with Billy Lee Riley (of Sun Records legend). He later formed the art rock bands Zapartus, Trigger Warning and now The Anders Drayton Situation.
A seasoned musician with 25 years stage experience and numerous recordings, Erik’s guitar playing is centered on roots rock and texture, blending urban beats urban and blues is the core to Erik’s songwriting as evidenced with the Anders Drayton Situation.

“I wanted to be a music artist from a young age. I knew I COULD be one after I sang ‘At This Moment’ by Billy Vera and the Beaters at a school talent show in 10th grade and took 2nd place.”
Born and raised in Harrisburg, Pa. Free verse poet writer since 15 years old. Sang in children’s choir and then adult choir growing up in church. Influenced by many genres from the 70’s to the 90’s, including oldies, classic R&B, classic rock, classical music and early rap.80’s rock and pop and comedy themed music. Inspirations from the 90’s include Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails, Eminem, Nightmares on Wax, Kruder and Dorfmiester and several others in the late 90’s into the early 2000’s.
In 2012, William fronted the rock, funk band AlterEgo for nine months. Later, he pursued stained glass and began perfecting his culinary skills while working full-time repairing camera lenses for Canon Virginia, Inc. where he learned the art of photography.
Being a self taught drummer from the early 2000’s, William is a backup (extra) drummer and singer with New Life Ministry Center in Gloucester. He also has aspirations of completing his culinary degree.
